My Story
Hello! I'm Andrea, an old-fashioned Italian-American girl, hopeless romantic, jewelry maker,
happy housewife & mama to 3 little bambini.
I can fondly and easily recall early childhood memories of digging through my Grandmother's jewelry boxes and drawers upon drawers of vintage handbags, scarves and other beautiful accessories from the 1940's and 50's. It was a treasure hunt for me, and I remember feeling such a connection to my Grandmother; a connection that still continues today. I spent childhood collecting beads and baubles and fashioning them into all sorts of new creations. I was the girl in high school who always carried a vintage purse, loved to thrift shop, and was quite happy to be wearing my Grandma's chic fur jacket with jeans and boots.
I graduated from New York's Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and a strong desire to lead a creative life. It was in New York that I truly learned the power of aesthetic, and the importance of creativity, beauty and art. After working for several years as a buyer for Barneys New York, I left the corporate scene, travelled a bit, got married, started a family and fulfilled a long-time dream to open a small web boutique. Many twists and turns have lead me here, so happy to be doing what I truly love.
I hope my jewelry designs reflect my passion for beautiful details and desire to create vintage style jewelry that feels fresh at the same time. I'm especially fond of incorporating pastel gemstones, beautiful religious relics, pearls with patina, old rhinestones, vintage hearts and carved roses.
Always handmade with love.
A few personal passions include: pink peonies, old chandeliers, Catholic churches, pretty cakes, love stories, bookstores, flea markets, gelato, decorating our home, playing with my children, laughing with my husband, strong coffee, good conversation, old friends and happy people.
I try to find and create little bits of beauty in my everyday life, and I truly believe that happiness is in the little things!
